air pump set up?

I have an air pump from an old tank (from years ago) it still works but i forgot all the things i need with it. I know I need tubing and then do I put an air stone at the end of it. I know Im sounding stupid but I actually dont know what goes on the other end of the tube. Before I had a filter on the other end it was a 2 gallon tank.

I have a 5 gallon tank with a whisper filter system i am going to be putting a snail and betta in it.

Any help will be appreciated.

You can put an air stone, a bubble wand, or a decoration that hooks up to an air pump at the end of it.

We would love to see pics when you get it set up!

Hi molliemom3: Just remember to insert a flow/check valve at the output of your airpump (cheap plastic device) to protect the pump from water returning whenever it's turned off. That way you can hide the airpump under the tank's water level (e.g. behind the tank). Whenever possible, I suspend airpumps in the air -by hanging to whatever I can- to make them "silent".
