I have about 7 (in my newly acquired box of goodies)..... where is the best place to put them. Im only using 2 of the large flat ones, I put one in a log and it floated the log to the surface, I have 4 large flat stones, and then about 7 small ones.... are they supposed to be in an ornament of bedded in the gravel?

I have them buried in the gravel in a couple of my tanks.

You can use something heavy to put on the log such as a rock or brick.
