hey everyone i was wondering if Labidochromis sp. "Hongi" would breed with electic yellows cause i was thinking of getting some but dont want any hrbrids etc.

any comments welcome =D

Yes they do interbreed. The Lab species is bad for that.
I have both but I have them in separate tanks.

o ok but if i dont want to keep the fry i could just leave the female/females in the tank right? would any of the fry survive?

some of the fry do survive, I have a ton of fry that I have let get spit in the reg tanks by the moms. They still manage to hide under rocks and survive.

o ok so how do i get rid of the ones that survive should i sell them or i could set up a tank for hybrids that i dont want to give to anyone to not give them the headache to think of what to do with them

what could i do?

my shunshine peacock is now breeding with my females borleyi and ive kept 2 fry 1m 1f that i vented to make sure they are male and female the rest didnt survive that the only hybrids i want to keep
