just wondering wat pH would be best to breed malawi cichlids?

it depends on the fish some like it high some like it low

angela (steveangela1) can answer your question as she breeds malawis, but i know that they should be kept at a high pH (around 8)

I have always had my ph steady at 8.0-8.2 and I do twice a week waterchanges. I haven't had any issue getting them to breed like rabbits.
