Plants

Well this may sound dumb but i need to control a bit more my Nitrates. Does anybody has any plants with African Cichlids.(Red Zebras, Yellow Labs, Electric Blues, Blue Cobalts, Yellow Tails, Usisya, Common pleco and a Clown pleco) Any of what plants these guys won't torn apart?

you could try java ferns or some anubias I have no luck with plants but I have seen african cichlid tanks with them in and did ok you might want to find away to attach them to something or they will be floating all over the place

I got some Anacharis today since they were kinda short on Java Fern. So what they have on Java Fern I put it on my betta tank.

I have a val. I think it may be a jungle val. Very long and flowing. Once its established it grows like crazy. A low light trouble free plant.

Vallisneria. Some people say Val some say Vallis.

Giant Vallis would be a good choice IMO to provide some shadows in the tank as the leaves get really long and float on the water's surface. Only thing is, some herbivorous cichlids will eat it and some don't.

Np, also check Aquabid and Ebay in case your LFS doesn't have them.
