My cichlids haven't bred???

My kenyi and yellow lab females who were breeding like crazy haven't bred in a month?? which is crazy because they were on dot when it came to breeding on time.
When I did the water change/tank cleaning today I noticed the tank water was a bit warmer than usual, and I lowered the heater setting, which really doesn't matter because its a stealth heater and it was off anyways... but could the warmer water cause them to not want to breed?
There has to be something to change their habits... I have been doing everything the same, feeding, lighting, etc.... The only change in the whole house is the dog. and the thermostat, where I have been sick and carson has had the resp bug I have been keepin the house a little warmer.. and something tells me there is no way the dog could effect the fish lol...
It has to be the temp so I will keep the house at the reg temp now that we are over our bug.. (I went from setting the house at 68 to 73) I know thats not a huge change in the temp, but that is the only thing I can come up w/ for the reason.

The fish all look healthy and happy... The male kenyi is still doing his coloring up brightly and showing off, digging like crazy... my male labs are doing their showing off... my females just don't look like they are ready to spawn

what temp does your tank stay at?

maybe the dog is interested and runs up to look when you don't see and scares the fish or something stupid like that.

i have a little winer dog that loves the fish tanks and fish, she will just sit there and watch them just like we do!

They normally stay at 78, but when I did my cleaning it felt a lot warmer than that, and it was, it was 82

from a vigorous search.

the female carry the fry in her mouth for 40 days at 23-24° C (73-75° F) or after 25 days at 27-28° C (81-82° F).

so in other words temps shouldn't matter that much.
maybe they took a break.

My females have been carring about 21 days at 78 degrees, the temp has been so consistant up until now that it makes me wonder.
