I have 2, and my female is the same color (only not as "brilliant" as the male). They have bred, so I know she's a she! (I have babies to prove it!)

The only difference I can tell between the two, becides the dull/bright colors, are the egg spots. The female has 1, and the male has several, 5 I think.
