| Those fish are so beautiful Shawnie! I know that there aren't the right male/female ratio, but are they acting okay so far? I was considering setting up the 90 as an african tank (I can't make up my mind), but it's nearly impossible to get the corrext ratios from a LFS. | |

| ty ladies!!!! so doggon funny when I come home they act like dad hasnt paid a bit of attention to them hahahah...they are worse than the kids!!!!! (he fed them twice while I was at work )
amanda, they are NOT in the right ratio by any means ...and things have been fine with them...there is the occasional chase and squabble, but no deaths or fin damage...theres a ton of hiding spots so maybe thats helped....they are fed 4 small feedings a day and maybe thats helped also...who knows..im new to them so I just go with the flow as they do | |

| That's the aquarium you were having the cloudiness issues with isn't it? Now it's breathtaking. That's a wonderful array of cychlids in there. Nice job, now the feeding thing.................................  forget their snack and you could lose a finger. | |

| I love your tank Shawnie. You babies are soooo pretty. But you can't let dad abuse them like that...Only fed 2 times..lol...You might have to quit work to take care of them full time. | |

| They are pretty, healthy and seem happy... Sometimes I wonder about that ratio, maybe it depends on the group of fish and their attitude... bribing them with 4 feedings a day will help too they won't be so grouchy. | |

Thats how we ended up with cheif (the un-id'd guy that Im sure is a hybrid).... Between that and him putting haps in a 36g tank (that needs a 100g) he's been banned from fish buying.  | |
