25-30 I guess... 75 gal...dont know how ya missed it but I try to everyday but they beg too much !!! its the bf's tank and totally not stocked the way the rules are for africans but its a funny tank for sure

Shawnie, your babies are looking great! Their colors are amazing and some of them are looking a little chubby so I doubt they are starving I'm so glad the tank is working out for you. I just sold some of my Africans back to the LFS for credit today, so I am re-stocking my tank somewhat (going all-male). I can't wait until my tank is as full as yours is again!

Not to hijack the thread, but what are you getting in the next shipment from MM?

well,if he keeps adding to the aquarium, eventually you'll need to get another aquarium to put them in.

remember how freaked I was with this tank kate ? LOL ...its a crazy one now!! im glad you will be restocking yours ..wish I could have taken some of your amazing africans.....I want some marbles from MM lol ..I need them like a hole in me bum!
no more room for tanks unless I move the kitchen table or my bed out? I can eat and sleep on the floor tho im not picky

Yup I do remember! I'm so glad that you are enjoying them so much. I sold some of my Africans back to a good LFS yesterday (after having tons of people flake out on me when I posted them on craigslist) and they gave me $45 in credit for 9 fish which wasn't a bad deal. Of course I spent the credit the same day, lol, and got 3 new africans for my tank. I wish you could have taken them to, but with the shipping costs it just wasn't worth it. I just got a new African tonight that I picked up from Minnow too. I am ready for another shipment of MM's babies too! I got the tank, but have no clue where to put it. Its hiding in the trunk of the car, so hubby doesn't know about it yet Make sure to post pics when you get them!

My cichlid tank looks like is has alot of the same fish you have. Right now I have one agression issue. my male interupptues. i have 2 of those. and of couse i got my africans from LFS and i know i dont have correct ratio. I have been looking online for females, but no luck yet. But my male thinks he is KING TUT literally. he is quite the defender of his cave that he has DUG! and when I fill it back up with the argonatie/coral, he promplty begins to dig it out again. but pretty much they all have found there own spots but i want to get him a lady! as I was told only way to get the agression down was to pack them in the tank and have plenty of hiding spots. but i dont think i will pack them in but they have plenty of spots. i am afraid when he gets bigger all heck will break loose. but I love your tank and I am going to try to find your post on cloudy water as since i did my substrate change, it was cloudy adn cleared, but still dont look right.

cloudy water for me was just a ton of water changes using a plate to break the surface water from stirring up the subtrate....and time..because it will settle
