Fish Lore Magazine Introduction - November 2007 Issue

Another great month on Fish Lore! This month we have member spotlights on COBettaCouple, Tim and Armadillo. 4 fish profiles were written on the Cockatoo Cichlid, Purple Firefish, Six Line Wrasse and the Emerald Crab. A part 2 to Tim's DIY aquarium article series is in this issue on building your own tank. Sirdarksol brings us part 3 to his beginner's series and this one is on the aquarium setup. Dave wrote an article on how to move/transport your fish cross country. Sabi writes about a couple of fish diseases (ich and fish fungus) and Atm started on his nano saltwater aquarium series.

The forum thread of the month is Tim's fish house thread. If you're the least bit interested in DIY stuff, you'll find Tim's threads fascinating.

October was the first full month for the photo contests since moving to the new photo software. Turnout was pretty good. Going forward, winners of each of these contests (including October's winners) will receive a $10 e-gift certificate to use on Petsmart.com.

If you like playing computer games, we added an Arcade to the forum this month as well. You have to login to play. High scores are changing frequently and it looks like there are some good gamers here on Fishlore. Don't blame us if you get caught loafing though.
