    Hi all

I've finally got my 55 (UK) gallon up and it's currently fishless cycling. A little while ago I received some good stocking advice and just wanted to make sure it's definitely ok.

    Final stock would be:
    2 angels
    Small group of pearl gourami?
    12-14 Cardinal/rummynose tetra
Group of corys - undecided which type
    Lemon bn pleco
    Some type of dwarf cichlid?

Does anyone have any opinions on any of the stocking or any suggestions for anything else?

    Thanks in advance

what are the dimensions? Sounds doable. Those pearls can get big though so I'd keep it to 2 or 3 max. For a dwarf cichlid I'd go with a bolivian ram. Very peaceful

For cories you'll want warm water cories. The most common are aeneus and sterbai.

Dimensions are length 48 inch, depth 18 and height 21. The pearls aren't a must just thought they might be a nice addition.
I do have a Bolivian ram that I was thinking of moving but wasn't sure if he'd need a slightly lower temp than Angels?

I believe it should be fine. If not go with German blue rams.

Are you sure it's a 55 gallon? Those dimensions sound like a 75

That's good I'll move him over when cycled
I think it is around 55 maybe a bit less, it has a sort of divide quite a way down I'm guessing to try and prevent jumpers from getting to the top. When I filled it I think it was about 250 litres, maybe slightly over.
Saying that my maths is shocking so I could be totally wrong on size

According to the calculator your tank is indeed a 75 gallon, not a 55.
